WHAT IS HEMP/CANNABIS/MARIJUANA? - The term 'marijuana' (a.k.a. 'marihuana') refers primarily to the dried flowers of the incredibly versatile and useful annual plant known as hemp, or Cannabis sativa (subspecies including 'Sativa' and 'Indica'). Inherently and naturally harmless and beneficial, cannabis plants have evolved alongside and existed in symbiosis with the human race for countless millenia.
