Weld Styles
MJ Arsenal makes half-weld and fully-fused full-weld bangers to offer variety to customers with different needs. Each style has a distinct advantage.
Here’s what you should know about weld styles.
Half Weld
Half-weld style bangers are much sturdier than standard-weld bangers without reinforced joints. The welt point is where the bucket and stem connect, and you can see a small distinct line where the weld supports the joint. The benefits of using a half-weld over other techniques include faster production times and cost savings, yet with the same unmatched quality of quartz.
Half-weld bangers are strong enough to withstand dabbing temperatures—but be sure not to knock over your rig, because half-weld joints are less impact resistant than full-weld joints. Half-weld bangers are best for home use where they won't get moved around too much.
Full Weld
The full-weld style bangers are even stronger than half-welds. The bucket and neck connection is a smooth, uniform line with no division to indicate where one starts and ends. Full-weld pieces are more difficult to make, but they’re much more durable. Many glassblowers prefer them because they’re so much sturdier.

Drip buckets are MJA's latest addition to the arsenal. Because the bucket's tapered bottom enables oil to pool and build up within a smaller surface area, it prevents oils from getting trapped around the corners of the dish.
