This liquid culture (LC) lid will fit all widemouth (90 mm) canning jars. The lid is equipped with a super heavy duty injection port and a 0.22 µm syringe filter (25 mm diameter) that provides the contaminant-free gas exchange your liquid culture needs. The lid and all components are 100% autoclavable.

The heavy duty injection port is of the highest quality and is able to withstand hundreds of repeated injections before needing to be replaced. The syringe filter is made of a hydrophobic PTFE membrane with a polypropylene housing and is 100% reusable. A gasket is recommended for use with this lid if a completely watertight seal is important.
